IIA has four kinds of sessions designed to generate concrete actions that build the ecosystem and drive capital to effective impact companies.
Click on “Panels”, “Workshops”, “Conversations”, and “Deal Rooms” below for content descriptions.
- Panels - participants are encouraged to actively engage with industry experts in a large group discussion.
- Workshops (limited to 50 people per workshop)- participants work together towards specific, achievable goals. Representatives from these workshops will report back on Thursday to articulate commitments made to the final plenary session.
- Conversations (limited to 10 people per conversation)- participants engage in small-group discussions around a specific topic hosted by industry leaders. Conversations also allow affinity groups, like university, accelerator, and entrepreneurs to gather together to build relationships. Representatives from action-oriented conversations will report back on Thursday to articulate commitments made to the final plenary session. IIA also plans to produce a conference report outlining key commitments and insights from the conversations.
- Deal Rooms – Investors engage with investment-ready entrepreneurs seeking to raise capital. This is an opportunity to have a serious conversation about the role of a specific business in solving a social problem and to explore concrete partnership and investment opportunities.
